About the project

The Cross-border Wooden Architecture Route as a chance to preserve the unique heritage of the Polish-Ukrainian borderland’s cultural heritage project is being implemented from November 2019 to November 2021 by the Podkarpackie Regional Tourist Board and the "Euroregion Carpathians - Ukraine" Association of Local Self-Governments.


The aim of the project is to protect and popularize the cultural heritage of the Polish-Ukrainian borderland by developing a cross-border Wooden Architecture Route and conducting a broad informational and promotional campaign supporting the development of tourism.

 

Activities under the project include: development of the trail, creation of a website on the Ukrainian side, modernization of the website dedicated to the Wooden Architecture Route in Podkarpacie, organization of cultural events and guided tours of selected objects, and a promotional campaign on the Internet.

 

The Cross-border Wooden Architecture Route as a chance to preserve the unique heritage of the Polish-Ukrainian borderland’s cultural heritage project is being implemented with the financial support of the European Union under the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020. The total value of the project is EUR 65,961.00.
